Introduction of Tailoring Program

At FUSSA Sports Foundation Uganda, we are excited to introduce our new Tailoring Program, aimed at empowering youth—especially young girls—with practical skills that lead to sustainable income. The program is designed to equip learners with hands-on training in sewing, fabric cutting, garment construction, and fashion design fundamentals. By learning how to make clothes and accessories, participants gain a valuable skill set that can lead to self-employment or job opportunities in Uganda’s growing textile and fashion industries.

Beyond technical skills, the Tailoring Program fosters creativity, discipline, and business readiness. Participants will not only learn how to use sewing machines but also how to price their products, manage customers, and think entrepreneurially. This initiative aligns with our broader mission to uplift underprivileged youth and provide them with tools to shape their future with dignity and confidence.
